1. Users can post comments anonymously
There is now a conversation setting where a manager can allow users to post comments / comment replies / discussion replies / poll short answers anonymously. If the “Post Anonymously” setting is ON, this means that users will have the option on the player to change to be “Anonymous” if they wish. If the “Post Anonymously” setting is OFF, this means that users cannot post their comment anonymously.
How to turn Post Anonymous setting ON?
On the Review Conversation page, click on the Settings box. On the Settings & Configurations screen, user will see the option to toggle the Post Anonymously button On/Off.
If the conversation has the Post Anonymously turned ON, when a user clicks to add a comment / comment reply / discussion reply / poll short answer, the “User” avatar in the comment touch bar can now toggle between their regular Display Name and Anonymous.
If a user posts a comment anonymously, the conversation will show the ‘author’ as being :Anonymous xyz” where xyz is a random generated 5 character code. The user avatar also defaults to “AX” where x is the first character of the 5 character code. Anonymous user will show in:
- Activity Panel
- List View
- Comment Reply List (if applicable)
- Discussion Reply List (if applicable)
- Poll Short Answer Reply List (if applicable)
Reporting – Anonymous Activities
Activities that have been submitted anonymously will show as coming from Anonymous users in the Manager App. Anonymous user will show in:
- Discussion Replies (if applicable)
- Poll Submission (if applicable)
Please note: Anonymous comments / comment replies / discussion replies / poll short answers do not show up in User Detail drill down comments so that they are not tied back to the real user.
2. User Detail – Drill down data
The User Detail screen now provides drill down data. A user can click on each of the boxes and see the user related data.
Conversation – This shows the conversations the user joined.
Comments – Comments and comment replies a user has entered in all conversations they are in. Note: Anonymous comments are not included here.
Reactions – Video reactions added by the user to conversations the user is in.
Questions – Questions a user has entered in all conversations they are in.
Flagged Comments – Comments / Comment Replies / Discussion Replies made by the user that have been flagged in all conversations they are in.
Suppressed / Hidden Comments – Comments / comment replies / discussion replies made by the user that have been suppressed automatically or hidden by moderators.
Discussion Replies – Discussion replies made by the user in all conversations they are in. Note: Anonymous discussion replies are not included here.
Poll Short Answers – Poll Short Answers made by the user in all conversations they are in. Note: Anonymous poll short answers are not included here.
Poll Multiple Choice – Poll Multiple choice submissions made by the user in all conversations they are in.
3. Player supports Twitter Login
A user can join a conversation using their Twitter login.
4. Admin – User List Filter
A filter was added to the Admin User List to filter Registered and Anonymous users. Registered users are users who join conversations using an email address, including Social Login. Anonymous users are users who did not enter an email address.
5. Set CTA Timestamp Arrows
Timestamp arrows have been added to the Set CTA Timestamp screens to allow the manager to have greater control over setting the timestamp.
