1. Ability to reply to a reply

Users can now reply to comment replies and discussion replies.  The 2 levels of replies will be reflected in the Player, Manager and Insights Apps. The reply count at the topmost comment will reflect sub-replies.

Comments/Discussions

There are now 3 screens for comments and discussions.

  • Comment/Discussion Detail
  • Comment Reply/Discussion Reply Detail
  • Comment Sub-Reply/Discussion Sub-Reply Detail

The Detail screen now shows the replies including recent sub-replies on the screen.

A Reply without sub-replies will show as a list button.

A Reply with sub-replies looks like a container where the reply is at the top, and the sub-replies are buttons within the container. The most recent 3 sub-replies will be shown on the Detail screen, and the user can click on the reply to see all sub-replies.

A user can click on either a button or container to see the Reply Detail Screen.

2. User Email Notification

The user will be able to receive email notifications realtime/daily/weekly on activity that has occurred in the conversation.  The user can chose to configure the  types of notifications they would like to receive, and  the frequency of the receiving the email notifications.  The types of User email notifications include:

Realtime

  • Someone replied to my comment
  • Someone replied to my question

Daily

  • Someone replied to my comment
  • Someone replied to my question
  • Moderator added new Call to Actions
  • Summary of Activities

Weekly

  • Someone replied to my comment
  • Someone replied to my question
  • Moderator added new Call to Actions
  • Summary of Activities

Please Note: For the 3.3 release, users WILL NOT be opted in to receive email notifications for existing conversations. Users will have to go to their profile and change the notification settings. They will however will be opted-in to receive email notifications for future conversations, but those settings can be edited at any time.

3. Conversation List – Added Sort by Author

The Conversation List in Manager can now be sorted by Author Name.

Bugs Fixed

  1. Closed captions now display past the 1:00 minute mark.
